MIU SUTIN

Did you know that to produce a cotton T-shirt requires 2,500 to 3,000 liters of water?

Now imagine that impact multiplied by large production volumes... High impact, right?  For this and other reasons, the term '“Sustainability” not only means organic, recyclable, or recycled, but the scope of sustainability also covers many other elements such as water used, CO2, human working conditions, waste produced, toxicology etc...

BEGGINING
Noe founder of Miu Sutin, was working in fast fashion closely enough to see this and many other dimensions of its environmental impact. As purchasing manager, she was traveling and visiting factories, seeing the working conditions, also remuneration of workers, the kilometres the materials needed to travel from different providers… but the choice factor on the end was one: economical. Even if she appreciated her job, she could not accept the values it was representing.

FOUNDATION OF MIU SUTIN

She has founded her own brand with the mission of doing fashion another way. The idea was to create a sustainable, ethical brand for woman. Woman, that is conscious about her choices and impact she might have on the planet and people condition.

BRAND VALUES

Like she thought she did:

Miu Sutin is local: designed and handcrafted in Barcelona.

organic: Noe cares by selecting the best organic or fair trade fabrics, using ecofriendly dyes.

responsibly produced: she is working with local collaborators and social manufactures.

The motto of the brand is explaining it all:

Style, Quality, and Sustainability.

Noe's biggest dream is that fashion can be 100% sustainable despite the fact that she thinks it is not so simple and she may not see the change.

Well, at least there is no doubt that she is leaving a small touch, the kind that create great impacts.

Thank you Noe for your time, for showing us the essence of Miu Sutin, and for your conscious message to generate the change among all.
